"Blessed are the mourning, for they shall be comforted." ~ Matthew 5:4
Seasons of Hope is an eight-week grief support group for adults who are mourning the loss of a loved one. Jesus Christ is placed at the center of our journey of grief, through scripture, faith sharing with others who also experience grief, and practicing the rich traditions of our Catholic faith. Facilitators of this group are people who have suffered their own losses and want to walk this season of grief with you.
Each Session runs for periods of 8 Saturdays at 9:45AM-12:00PM in St. Gregory Room on the east side of the St. Philip's parking lot.

We bring the Church to people who cannot physically come to church. In this way, the sick and homebound are united to the Body of Christ present in our community.
Is God calling you to bring Christ in the Eucharist to those unable to join us for Sunday Mass?
¿Dios te está llamando a llevar a Cristo en la Eucaristía a aquellos que no pueden acompañarnos en la Misa dominical?

We are Knights. Men committed to acting on our faith and helping the world. Guided by four core principles: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Having embarked on a mission to spread God’s message of faith and love, we stand united with the Church. In countless ways, our belief strengthens us to speak out for religious and moral values.
COUNCIL ACTIVITIESThe primary aim of the Prayer and Life Workshops (PLW) is to help people grow closer to God through prayer. Prayer, as taught in the PLW, is a personal encounter with a loving God, an exchange of intimacies and not just words. The way to learn and develop a life of prayer is through practice. In the Prayer and Life Workshops you will learn how to pray in an orderly, varied, and gradual manner that will change your life as you become a man or woman of prayer.
True discipleship begins with a prayerful life. Faith is built through prayer and intimacy with God. The Prayer and Life Workshops (offered at St. Philip and other local parishes) will guide you through a series of practical prayer methods and exercises. Each week you will grow and experience a process of liberation and healing that will help you become the Christian God wants you to be.

St Philip the Apostle Men's Fellowship offers all men of the parish opportunities to come together as brothers, strengthening one another as we work to grow in emotional and spiritual maturity, in holiness, and to fulfill our responsibility to know our faith and live it virtuously, courageously, and apostolically. All in the spirit of 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11,14-18.
For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we wake or sleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing ... Be at peace among yourselves. And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. ~1 Thessalonians 5:9-11, 14-18.
