“. . . to be a catechist is a vocation of service in the church; what has been received as a gift from God must in turn be transmitted.” ~Pope Francis
The catechist is a Christian who is mindful of God, guided by the memory of God in his or her entire life and is able to awaken that memory in the hearts of others. This is not easy! Your role as a catechist and/or core member is greatly appreciated and needed!
If you feel called to be a catechist, catechist assistant, or volunteer in any of our religious education programs, please see the following requirements below!
All Volunteers and Catechist will need to complete the following steps before becoming a catechist.
Please contact the Safe Environment Coordinator, Eileen Castillo with any questions.
Once you are safe environment cleared, you will contact our Faith Formation Coordinator regarding volunteer!
